Fixing a Crushed Hard Disk

There is nothing as Sad as having all your important documents and data disappear right in-front of your eyes. All that music collection, the movies you had saved, the documents... in-short your whole life. As for now your computer is as good as dead. your heart is racing fast, you know its all over and there is nothing you can do to bring it back. You call a technician and they give you the sad news 'there is nothing we can do.'
Actually there is something you can do...
If you have tried using data recovery softwares and you still dont get anything out of it fact your computer is not even booting this is what you do...
Place the Hard disk in the Freezer. Yes your home Fridge but seal it in such a way that no moisture goes in it. Let it stay there for at-least 12hours or more. Immediately you remove it from the freezer connect it to the computer and power it. You will see that it will boot normally.
Harvest as much data as you can by the normal 'cut' and 'paste' on another media like a portable Hard drive or your Flash disk.
How it Works...
A hard disk contains plates inside it and niddles that read and write information on them. This are very sensitive and the niddles are so close to the plate surface even the smallest speck of dust can make it crush that's why hard disk drives are air proof. If the needle becomes loose it 'looses' its normal position and could be touching the surface of the plates making it impossible to read the information on the disk. But placing it in the fridge the needle will contract and regain its original shape allowing it to boot normally. But this method is not permanent; as soon as the hard disk becomes 'warm' it will loose its position again. But you will have collected some data from it. You can repeat this over and over to your satisfaction...

Finally a Facebook 'Unlike' Option

EnemyGraph lets you list your Facebook enemies..
Apparently, Facebook is too friendly for some users: You may “Like” something, but you can’t “Dislike” it; you may join a group to show support, but you can’t directly oppose a group (without creating another group). Well, negative Nancys and Debbie Downers may have finally found the Facebook app to expend all that pent-up hatred—EnemyGraph.
The basic premise of EnemyGraph is to connect people based on their dislikes. Based on the 3 million people behind a petition for a “Disklike” button, there is a market for this app. But as nice as it may be to publicly share your dislike of fake tans and find out who else shares your feelings on the matter, there might also be potential to create discord amongst friends.... Well am just giving you First hand ICT news...

The Indian Ocean fiber-optic cable

Its now roughly One Month and Two weeks since it was reported According to the BBC, a ship dropped anchor in a restricted area (now they know why) off the coast of Kenya while waiting to enter the heavily-trafficked port in Mombasa. The fiber-optic cables belonged to one of East Africa’s three Internet service providers The East African Marine Systems (TEAMS). To help maintain some form of web access to its users, Teams has purchased a small amount of bandwidth from Seacom, so its users aren’t cut off completely. But traffic has apparently slowed to a crawl in Kenya, Rwanda, Burund, Tanzania, and Ethiopia — said to be cut by 20 percent — hardly enough to support viewing YouTube videos.
“Sadly, this reveals how fragile the physical infrastructure for Africa’s internet access is. Am Wondering How in the World did the break happened despite the fiber optic cable being guarded by a steel housing. The cable’s armor is usually made up of galvanized steel wires that wrap around the delicate interior of the cables, all of which is coated in a water-blocking compound. The fiber optics can also be placed in a steel tube, depending on the level of protection needed and the manufacturer of the cabling.
The repairs were said to take up to 14 weeks. Until then, we had to live with limited access. But not to worry I know they are finding ways to curb this mistakes… And the good thing is it was fixed and things are up and running now…

Computer Problems Solved

Hi guys.... Finally an All Computer, IT, ICT, Smart Phone, Phone related problems forum and blog is here..
My name is Dan and I will Help you solve all the above problems you might have...

Viruses are one of the main problems, we all know what happens when your computer is infected with viruses… you guessed that right ‘Data loss’ (as a cause of the viruses) or the inevitable happens ‘computer crash’… Downloading is another problem for instance  when you download multiple things on to your computer you have the message ‘virtual memory low’ or you are almost filling up your drive C: When you use all of your computers memory the computer gets slower because it has a harder time loading or starting up the programs that you have downloaded. Internet is another issue when you are not well protected you can end up getting ‘Hacked’ (Like what happened to some GOVERNMENT websites) When your computer gets hacked nothing on it is personal anymore. The hacker can retrieve all of the files that you had stored on the computer. Whilst browsing the Internet you must be aware of what you are clicking on or downloading. Another is Password loss or you ‘conveniently’ forgotten your computer or mobile phone password.  Then Last but not least Data Loss due to a crushed hard disc, flash discs, memory cards and all portable data carrying Medias or basically hardware problems with your laptop or PC. Bottom line is I am here to give you an All IT solution for your personal computer or company in general….
